We are excited to be able to offer an excellent opportunity on behalf of our client to join their busy team as a Stock and Production Planner.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Stock and Inventory Planner who can inject experience and knowledge to create a new smooth workflow for our client.  Inventory knowledge and being able to execute ideas efficiently and effectively is essential for this position; however, training will be given regarding the production process.   

The preferred candidate would have experience in the following duties:

• Stock and inventory knowledge 
• Monitoring stock levels
• Planning and managing orders
• Liaising with clients and timeframes
• Handling all administration for the department
• Order processing
• Checking internal processing regarding quality control.
• Analysing inventory data
• Warehouse inspections
• Goods in and Goods out
• Picking and Packing
• Using a ‘hands-on work ethic’ at busy times regarding setting-up and running machines (full training will be given)
• Some heavy lifting will be required
• Driving the company van between sites to collect stock – a full driving licence is therefore essential.

• Experience working within a production environment
• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Calm under pressure
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written, numerical and problem-solving skills
• Good record keeping skills

**PLEASE NOTE: Own transport and a driving licence is essential or this position**

Job Type:             Full Time Permanent Position

Salary:                  £26,000 -£28,000 PA depending on experience

Hours:                  Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5pm
