Stock Administrator 

We are recruiting for a Stock Administrator to join our client based in Southend on Sea. This is a great opportunity to join a great team in a well-established and niche local company. 

Excellent IT skills and phone manner is essential, as the ability to communicate and work well within a team as well as individually is a must. You will need to be highly motivated and have the ability to learn and absorb information quickly. Able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise your workload.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
•    Accurately process orders onto our inhouse system in a timely fashion
•    Liaise directly with the customers by telephone and e-mail, ensuring quality customer service in every situation
•    Work closely with colleagues in the Sales team and in the Warehouse to ensure customer orders are processed correctly and efficiently
•    General administrative duties, answering phone calls etc.
 

The ideal candidate will:
•    Have worked in a sales/merchanting environment previously with experience and understanding of stock allocation
•    Ideally have textile and/or tailoring knowledge
•    Be confident using Microsoft, particularly Outlook
•    Be a proficient PC user
•    Have strong communication skills
•    Be open to learning how to use new software (full training will be provided) 

Job Type:     Full Time, Permanent
Area:            Southend on Sea, Essex
Hours:          09:00 to 17:00 (37.5 Hours a Week)
Salary:         £28,000 to £30,000 PA
