Quality Test Technician
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Test Technician to join an established global manufacturing company based in Basildon.
You will be testing samples in a laboratory environment and collecting accurate data.
Duties:
- Making small (300g) samples for alternate raw materials and checks
- Manufacturing larger (10kg+) samples for customer trials
- Testing products for viscosity, softening point, heat resistance, open time etc
- New product development
- Maintaining laboratory records
- Technical service work
Skills required:
- Good communicator
- Accuracy with data entry
- Ability to conduct professional emails or letters
- Must be computer literate and have good IT skills such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good English language knowledge
- Can work as part of a team and unsupervised
