CNC Setter Operator – Milling
The role
To program, set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components.
What we are looking for
- Previous CNC Milling experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings, set CNC Milling machines and use measuring equipment
- Experience in the aerospace industry is desirable
- Experience using Metric and Imperial
- Computer literate
- Be a team player and have a strong work ethic
Your responsibilities
- Setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits
- Manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales
- Setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required
- Using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture
- Mentoring new staff as required
- Maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times
- Making sure that manufactured product is suitably protected for transit
- Working in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times
- Ensuring that all manufacturing paperwork is filled out correctly

Location: Southend
Salary: Up to £17.72 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:00, Fridays 8:00 to 13:00
