Administration Assistant

Working on site for our client based in Rochford, Essex reporting into the Head of Operations, we are looking for an all-round Administration Assistant. Someone that has been in a supporting generalist admin role and had exposure to invoicing, marketing, stocks and reporting.

The above is full-time role and we are looking for someone organised  and methodical who can be trained and whose skills our client can develop at a wider corporate level to grow with the Group.

Duties: 

  • Preparing invoices and sending to clients using Excel
  • Recording deliveries and matching against contracts 
  • Filing all transaction and delivery documents 
  • Following up with transport company’s on email and by phone
  • Preparing weekly stock reports using Yard Manager and Head of Ops inputs via Excel
  • Generally organising the office and ensuring the space is clean and professional and ordering office supplies
  • Occasional organising and printing of marketing materials 
  • Logging holiday time and hours for temporary workforce     
  • General administrative duties in relation to the business

Requirements: 

  • Good intermediate Microsoft Office skills (mainly Excel) and ability to prepare documents in a professional manner 
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients / transport providers 
  • Willingness to learn, be open to criticism and willing to adapt to the needs of the growing business 
  • Strong team player

 

Salary up £28,000 to 32,000 plus bens

Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (Flexible start times available)

**Car owner is essential due to company location - Free parking on site**
